Terms and Conditions of Use for Motive App
These Terms and Conditions govern the download, access, and usage of the Motive app (“App”), freely available to users on Apple Store (iOS) platforms.
By downloading and using the App, users acknowledge and fully consent to these terms of use.
- Responsible Party for the App
Motive LLC, located in Bangladesh, and emailing : [email protected], is the owner and entity responsible for the App.
- Purpose
The App is developed to provide users with access, via their mobile devices, to motivational quotes, daily affirmations, and other general-interest information (“content”), in a simple, fast, and customizable manner.
- Compatible Devices
The App is available for free on Apple Store (iOS). Users agree to adhere to the terms and conditions set forth by these respective application stores when obtaining, downloading, and updating the App.
- Getting Started
Upon initial launch of the App, users are prompted to optionally provide some general data related to the chosen application. Users can configure the frequency of reminders for their selected content on their mobile devices. This information can be modified at any time via the corresponding settings panel within the App.
Access to limited content is available in the free version for users to evaluate suitability. To access all content, users must subscribe to the Premium version through various payment plans (monthly, annual, or lifetime) available on Google Play Store or Apple Store.
- Usage Method
Upon launch, users access a main screen displaying motivational quotes and other content. They can share or mark content as favorites. Reminders/notifications based on user preferences are sent to their mobile devices.
5.1 General Settings
Through an icon on the main screen, users can access a section to modify provided data, configure application settings, manage subscriptions, and access terms of use, privacy policy, and FAQs.
5.2 Categories
Users can specify preferred content categories and view favorites and user-created content via a menu icon.
5.3 Themes
Accessible via an icon, users can customize font, colors, typography, backgrounds, etc., for reminder display on their devices.
- Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual and industrial property rights to the App are owned by Motive LLC. Users are prohibited from unauthorized reproduction, modification, distribution, or commercialization of any elements within the App.
6.1 User Content
Within the App, users have the ability to generate and share their own motivational quotes and other content of general interest (“user content”).
Users are hereby informed that they bear responsibility for the user content they publish within or through the App, including ensuring its legality, reliability, and appropriateness.
By posting user content within or through the App, users affirm and guarantee that:
The user content belongs to them (they own it) and/or they have the necessary rights to use it and grant Motive the rights and license outlined in these Terms.
The posting of user content within or through the App does not infringe upon the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, contract rights, or any other rights of any individual or entity. Motive reserves the right to terminate the account of any user found to be infringing copyright.
Users retain all rights to the user content they submit, post, or display within or through our App, and are responsible for safeguarding those rights. Motive assumes no responsibility or liability for any user content posted by users or third parties within or through the App. However, by posting user content within the App, users grant Motive the right and license to use, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such user content within and through the App. Users also agree that this license extends to other users of the App, who may utilize their user content subject to these Terms.
